FANTASY ABOUNDS WHEN KNIGHTS & DRAGONS UNITE

Medieval Times and Dragon Con partner for a theme night of fantasy, cosplay, and competition.

ATLANTA (January 15, 2014)—In a realm where fantasy abounds, two imaginary worlds collide with Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament’s inaugural Dragon Con Night, a partnership with Atlanta’s famed pop culture convention.

On Friday, January 31 for the 8:00pm show, Medieval Times entices guests to find their inner geek in pursuit of making memories and bringing imagination to life. Doors to the Castle officially open at 6:45pm, and the program begins with a costume contest featuring a $1,000 grand prize for the winning adult’s costume (ages 13+) and a deluxe Medieval Times gift basket for the winning child’s costume (ages 12 & under). All costumes are welcome, and there is no need for costumes to be medieval in nature. All contestants must arrive by 6:45pm in order to be eligible for entry. Celebrity judges include Roy Wooley, two-time Face Off runner-up and Netherworld makeup artist, and Medieval Times’ Head Knight and cosplay genius, Jason Jones.

In hopes of welcoming fans of fiction, Medieval Times offers substantial savings for this special show with All Seats $28 using code 28DCON.  Upgrade packages are additional, but guests in costume will receive a free upgrade to VIP Royalty, while supplies last. Please arrive early, as VIP Royalty is in limited supply.

Don your finest costume, step into a world of fantasy, and join Medieval Times and Dragon Con for an experience where heroes are born and legends take breath. For reservations, please visit the gift shop at Sugarloaf Mills, call 1-888-WE-JOUST (935-6878), or visit bit.ly/dconknight.
