Imagine how excited the kids and I were to see that we had a brand new restaurant that had just opened in our area this month. We have passed by it several times and I promised the boys that we would go there to eat over their Christmas break and what better day to go than New Year’s Eve. The restaurant is located in Fayetteville, GA off of Lanier Ave/Hwy 54. I was told by the hostess that its the first of its kind among many more different ones to come. I have always been a fan of Chick-fil-A and their awesome service. I can’t ever remember a time when I have ever had bad service at one of their restaurants and that’s one of the primary reasons why we dine there at least twice a month.

The moment that we entered the restaurant we were greeted and immediately seated. The restaurant was decorated with Hawaii décor and the servers were dressed in Hawaiian theme uniforms…too cute! Here’s a look at what they have to offer on their menu:

  • Calamari
  • Roasted Shrimp
  • King Hawaiian Rolls

Soups & Salads:

  • Asian Salad
  • Cobb Salad
  • Island Chicken Salad & Greens
  • Chicken Noodle, Vegetable & Creamy Potato

  • Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich
  • Luau Fish Sandwich
  • Aloha Fish Sandwich
  • Truett’s Luau Burger
  • Chick-fil-A Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich
  • Island Chicken Salad Sandwich
  • Chick-fil-A Nuggets
  • Chick-fil-A Grilled Nugget

  • Seared Ahi Tuna
  • Mahi Mahi
  • Maui Shrimp
  • Traditional Hawaiian Plate

  • Loco Moco
  • Chick-fil-A Breakfast
  • Chick-n-Mini Breakfast
  • Banana Macadamia Nut Pancake
  • Aloha Breakfast

  • Handspun Milkshakes
  • Pineapple Macadamia Nut Milkshake
  • Hawaiian Shaved Ice
  • Frosted Pineapple
  • Kouko Cake

Of course the kids decided on chicken nugget kids meals and Hawaiian Shaved Ice for dessert. I decided to have the Maui Shrimp which was served with jasmine rice and stir-fry vegetables. I did not want the vegetables so I decided to get waffle fries instead. The atmosphere at the restaurant was simply amazing and it is indeed a great place to visit. The highlights of the restaurant include the fact that their is a waterfall outside that you can enjoy while eating which will be greatly appreciated in the warmer months and lets not forget that you can also host luau parties here in the warmer months. How cool is that? I can’t wait until the spring. Stay tuned for future post as they have upcoming events in 2014.

On last night I attended the Giving Is Glam Canned Food Drive at Chef Rob’s Upscale Lounge in Roswell. This was my first time ever visiting Chef Rob’s. This was a charitable event hosted by the following bloggers: @iamlilliemae @iammsbotalley @beautyarchitect @virtuousstyls @ritakaydavis @prettysmartbiz and @kiwithebeauty. The evening was full of networking, photos and great food. Since this was my first time at the restaurant I decided to order their pan seared crab cakes. Let me just say that I was not in the less bit worried about the taste because Chef Rob has an reputation that far exceeds many fellow Chefs. OMG! The crab cake was to amazing. I enjoyed a glass of white wine which they just happen to be having a $5.00 special and a slice of his famous Cheesecake. Let’s just say that I was in Heaven. The evening was a huge hit! I was also one of the twitter winners too! They don’t call me the “Social Media Queen” for nothing. I had a fantastic time and I was able to meet many of my fellow Diva Bloggers. HAPPY BLOGGING DIVAS!

On Saturday Night October 26, 2013 I was invited to The Oceanaire Seafood Room for a surprise birthday celebration. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:15pm and the celebration was scheduled to begin at 7:30pm. I was pleasantly welcomed as I walked through the revolving door by the maître d’ was very helpful in directing me to the private room that was reserved for our gathering. The guest arrived and shortly thereafter the guest of honor walked through the doors to our private room and was surprised that his family and friends had managed to surprise him for his birthday. The Chef arrived to the table and proceeded to tell us about dishes that have made The Oceanaire Seafood Room famous. Since I’m a true Southern Belle I decided to have their Shrimp & Grits. I can honestly say that they were amazing! I will attach a picture below. The night progressed and soon came to an end. This was my first time visiting The Oceanaire Seafood Room but will not be my last.
